    What about a new hero? With a few new abilities?
    Here a few ideas to get the thought process started:

    New Hero Abilites:

    1. Doom-Cloud / Bad Weather Cloud
    Purpose: Zoning out air-units
    Right now, there are forcefields from Raynor of from sentry, that can be used to block or zone-out enemy (or friendly) ground units. Doom-Cloud could be used to zone-out air-units, but not like forcefields by preventing movement, but by reducing the attack-rate (maybe healing rate of medivacs) of air units.
    Attack-rate of air units within the Doom-Cloud is reduced to almost zero, resulting in a zoning out effect during battles.
    Could be a tool for effectively zoning out voidrays, carriers or broodlords during a battle. In contrast to the normal ‘slow’ effect, this should be an area effect, so that the air-unit could fly away from that cloud. But if the air-unit moves towards the enemy, it would be more vulnerable by getting into the range of enemy units. If the air-unit moves back, it would get out of range of the current battle. So the right size of the cloud and the distance of the ability are key.

    2. Fear-of-God
    Puts the fear of god into a single enemy hero. That hero is so surprised and terrified by the fear he feels, that his knees are shivering and the hero is stunned for a few seconds and cannot attack, move, get attacked or get dispelled by anything or anyone.
    When the Fear-of-God ends, that hero is teleported back to his homebase (but not because he died, just to prevent getting surrounded during stun-time and getting killed because of that).

    3. Kick-The-Block
    We all know, how it feels when your own ally blocks your movement. What about an ability, that a hero can use to ‘throw'(blink) friendly units a certain distance back towards the homebase. This way he could remove a block, by throwing a few units back. Or he could use that ability to throw low-health units back from the frontline of a battle.

    This would be a micro-intensive ability (kind of like illusion ability), but could reduce hate towards noob-allies a little bit (if a non-noob player in that team has a Kick-The-Block hero and takes care of his allies). It could even help a noob ally, because often times they block their own hero with their units, probably due missing experience or panic.

    4. Love-Peace-Dancing
    War is gruesome. Dancing is fun. So why not spread some love and give the enemy units a little bit of peace and fun?
    This ability could make a certain percentage of the enemy units within range of that ability dance (like with the /dance command). The dancing units would not attack nor move and could not be attacked for a short time. This could be a very powerful ability, so balancing it would probably require some effort.

    Also a team could trick the enemy team by selectively letting their units dance with the /dance command. This fake ‘Love-Peace-Dancing’ could attract the enemy, who might think, they are an easy target, when in reality they are just waiting for them to approach.

    Don’t know, if Starcraft 2 has animations for that kind of stuff, but a boomerang weapon or a flying carpet zoo-item for heroes would also be nice.

    I can’t wait for the amount of bad mannered move we could see with Kick-The-Block from haters 😀

    Other thing is that standard dance cant be interrupted, so it makes no sense faking it and get caught :p

    i like the idea too for more heros for new fun or other abilities cause all know now how to play their tactics to win a game or just have fun i think its time for some “new upgrades ”

    The cloud is a cool idea. The 2nd one doesnt really make sense to me. The hero might aswell be portet back to his base instantly, since this is what will happen anyway. I dont think that would be a very interesting spell, just porting an enemy hero back to his base. The 3rd one im not so sure about neither, i dont feel an ability that is only used to compensate lack of teamplay is very cool. Id rather make it so you could use it to bounce enemy units. The last one is effectively a mass-stun, which would be a little bit like vortex, which isnt the best spell neither imo. The issue with those kind of spells (and the port enemy hero back spell) is, theres nothing to do against. The opponent casts this on your hero and its kinda annoying for you, since theres nothing you could really do against it. The mass stun might be not that bad, but i feel there are better possible abilities. Still, thanks for the ideas. Maybe if we find some more and i find the time i can make a new hero.

    I know, that some ideas might be stupid, not needed or hard to balance. But i want people to write stupid, crazy & new ideas here in the forum. Maybe some of them aren’t that crazy and could be implemented. So all people should brainstorm and post here their most ridiculous and creative ideas. Let’s see, if Senfkatze can use some of them.

    I know, that some ideas might be stupid, not needed or hard to balance. But i want people to write stupid, crazy & new ideas here in the forum. Maybe some of them aren’t that crazy and could be implemented. So all people should brainstorm and post here their most ridiculous and creative ideas. Let’s see, if Senfkatze can use some of them.
